What we collect

When you use an EventBooth photobooth, we collect the photos and clips you take. If you choose to receive your photos or join a host's list, we collect the name, email address, and/or phone number you provide. For host accounts, we collect account details and usage information needed to operate the service.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver your photos, operate and improve the booths, and — where you have opted in — to send event updates and messages from the host. Hosts are responsible for the messages they send to their own lists.

Photos, galleries & retention

Captured photos and videos are automatically deleted approximately 30 days after they are taken, unless the host chooses to keep them stored longer. If a host turns on a public gallery, captures from that event are viewable by anyone with the gallery link until they are deleted. Anyone who appears in a capture can remove it themselves from the gallery, or email us to request removal. Contact details you provide are retained until you or the host request their deletion.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run EventBooth, including Supabase (database & storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Twilio (SMS). We do not sell your personal information.

Mobile messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from EventBooth related to your event — your photos, invitations, RSVPs, event updates, and (where the host sends them) thank-you messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.

Your choices & rights

You can request access to or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@eventbooth.app. You can remove a photo or video of yourself directly from a public gallery using the Remove option, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under GDPR or CCPA) to access, correct, or delete your data; email us to exercise them.

Children

EventBooth is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Event hosts are responsible for obtaining any consent required to photograph minors at their events.
